Fashion. love. love love. I think I really found myself, my trend, my niche after freshmen year. Being different is my thang and I truly believe in standing out and being funky. I've always been into fashion and never really knew where to start with. I guess you can say...I never had the courage to really take it forward. I really should have followed my heart and went for it straight out of high school. Instead I took the route of chillaxin, kickin it, and straight up livin the life of a 19 yr old. Anyways, now that I'm at the age of "Crap, I seriously need to do something with my life...." I've been slowly taking steps to turn my dreams into reality. Will it ever happen?? Who knows...doesn't hurt to try though, right? I'm a huge follower/fan/lover of Hellz Bellz. I already have too many pieces of this line and best believe I'm not done. I have mad respect and love for the designer/creator Lanie and I CANNOT wait to attend this event sponsored by behindthehustle.com to inspire me. Get up on it! If you don't know...now you know, jiggah.

Have you ever felt the WOW factor? I'm sure this little ol theater in downtown Seattle isn't a big whopping deal but it was my first time at an actual old school theater. I love interior design....would I be good at it? Nah. I don't think so.... Do I enjoy looking through mags, reading articles, surfing the web, finding inspiration of it? YEAH. So, this was definitely a moment of "Wow!" What is so awesome about this interior structure of a joint??? Hmmm. I like how it has a vintage feel. The ambiance. The lights. The colors. So.... So.... makes me want to become an actress and sing on stage feeling. HA! No, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to take these shots. I was inspired.

walkin on air

as I stood waiting for my friend to arrive so we could go out to eat at a fatty burger joint, I realized how gorgeous the ground beneath me was. How often do we actually look down?? The colors of the green grass, the gray cement, and the shadow from my car blocking the sun made a shot worth taking. I had to throw in my sparkle TOMS.... hey, wouldn't it be cool if we could all walk on air? I think so....

i've been trying to decide how to dress up our wall in the living room. we have 9 ft high ceilings and 25 ft wide space of blank blank blankity blank. it's been driving me crazy. my husband and i have been living in our apt for a year now and nothing has graced the smooth surface or brought attention to the eyes. the wall is painted in a brown/yellow/gold tone. flat. no gloss. a black ikea couch sits in front. grr. i've been collecting images to help inspire me. here's a few....

another inspiration from EpiCute. i'm digging these colors. hm. this would look fantastic on a canvas framed w. bold black. eye catching image on a blouse. or a sewn design on a silk jersey jacket. these colors are amazing. *did i mention i hate pink. there's pink in this. wth. lol

you dirty broad

i noticed Chicago is playing here in Seattle. I love that play. Anyways....the ad that caught my attention inspired me to quickly create a set i like to call. dirty broad. that's exactly what it is. so loving the style it puts off. in my mind i can see smeared red lipstick. smudged black eyeliner and shadow. torn sexy fishnet stockings paired with heels. no wonder i'm always quick to pair my dress shorts w. fishnet stockings!
